Reviving Mosul Campaign
Creative and editorial direction of a film celebrating Mosul's reconstruction through the lens of its young entrepreneurs.

Role: Creative Director & Producer (The Station Foundation)
The Station Mosul branch needed a film that didn't lean on war imagery or rebuild clichés. The brief was simple: show Mosul today, not as a story of damage, but as a city being authored by the people who stayed.

I anchored the film in the founders themselves, cafes, studios, small shops opened by young Moslawis after 2017. The voiceover stayed quiet on purpose. The city had been talked about enough; this time it would be watched.
I directed and produced the film end-to-end, concept, scripting, casting, shoot direction, post.
The result: A piece used by Station partners and international visitors as the visual answer to 'what is Mosul like now?', told without a single shot of rubble.
